The ESP D4 starts with a beautifully, balanced contoured body made of Merbau paired with a 5-piece Mahogany/Maple neck featuring ESP's extra-thin, u-shape profile, 24 XJ frets, Rosewood fingerboard and offset Abalone dot inlays. Equipped with a set of ESP SB-4 pickups governed by the ABQ3 active, 3-band EQ and Volume and Balance controls. The D4 gets stellar sustain form neck-thru-body construction and the ESP BB-604 bridge with string-thru-body design. Additional features include Grover tuners and black nickel hardware.
